Job Description: Our client in Montgomery County, PA is seeking to hire to full-time Clinical Engineering System Information Analyst / Senior BioMedical Engineer. Average Travel Requirements up to 50%. In addition to biomed experience, client is looking for someone that transitioned into the IT piece and has handled the interfaces. Job Responsibilities: As part of the corporate CE-IT Team, you will be traveling throughout the United States to our acute care facilities where you will survey the clinical technologies onsite, and develop strategies for integration into the EMR with as much as 50% travel. The successful candidate will coordinate the installation and maintain the integration products for communications with the EMR. The successful candidate will learn how to build device aliases and parameter aliases in the Cerner toolkit for successful integration of device data into the EMR. You will assess current technologies and develop new solutions for end-of-life devices in all modalities, including medical imaging, laboratory, radiation/oncology, anesthesia systems, etc. Attend trade shows and other educational programs as assigned to maintain and/or develop a strong technology leadership role for the CLIENT system. Supervising or overseeing the work performed by outside service vendors. Participating in and providing on-the-job training to peers regarding the maintenance and use of medical device connectivity. Maintaining knowledge of state, federal and industry regulations… and many other CE-IT technology responsibilities as assigned. Communicating with customers and staff regarding the status and resolution of ongoing projects.

Job Requirements: Job Requirements: Associate''s degree, or equivalent trade school or military certificate in electronics technology, biomedical equipment technology or information technology. 5 years of experience in the repair, maintenance and calibration of medical instrumentation. At least 3 years of experience within a hospital environment. Ability to work efficiently and with a minimum of supervision. Proficiency in providing accurate documentation using state-of-the-art technology. CBET/CRES/or CLES and IT Networking Certification is highly desirable
