Job Description: Our client in Polk County, FL is seeking to hire a full time, perm Cerner Team Lead for their Clinical Ancillary Systems Division. Relocation is available. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY TO THIS MGMT ROLE IF YOU HAVE NO CERNER BUILD EXPERIENCE. This person will function 50% of the time as an analyst and 50% of the time as a team lead managing a team of analysts. Client is a Tobacco Free employer. The candidate in this position would function as the Team Lead, Clinical Ancillary Systems responsible for providing leadership for the Analysts supporting systems in the following areas: Radiology, Cardiology, Lab, Pharmacy, Health Information Exchange, HIMS (Medical Records), Quality (Meaningful Use/HIE) and Charge Services. The incumbent will function part of the time as an Analyst and perform duties as outlined in the Job Description. Additional Team Lead responsibilities include: Assist manager in the assignment of daily work within the team Provide guidance to team members on task prioritization, planning and issue resolution Identifying issues/risks and assist in addressing those or escalating accordingly Identify opportunities for improvement to increase team''s effectiveness and efficiency and develop action plans working with team members and manager Foster cross-training among team members to eliminate single points of contact for technologies supported by the team Represent the manager in meetings and on issues as needed GENERAL SUMMARY: Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of CLIENT, modeling the values and culture. The Business Systems Analyst assesses, plans, implements and evaluates information system support needs for business operations according to own judgment, policies, procedures, protocol and standards. As an internal consultant, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for system assessment, process analysis, identification of system requirements, and functional definition of planned system changes. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for identifying and implementing information system solutions that support more efficient and effective work performance based on inherent knowledge of business functions and processes. The Business Systems Analyst develops and manages project plans for the deployment of new and/or changes to information system applications. The Business Systems Analyst administers system applications and serves as an educator and resource regarding system functionality. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for functioning within scope of individual education, licensure and competence. Must identify opportunities for and contribute to the improvement of quality, safety and cost, as well as patient, customer, and employee satisfaction.

Job Requirements: The ideal candidate would have: Experience functioning in an IT Team Lead position or a demonstrated history of roles with IT leadership responsibility within the health care IT industry. Cerner clinical information systems experience strongly preferred. However, experience with clinical information systems of other major vendors (e.g. EPIC, MEDITECH) acceptable. Experience working with more than one clinical ancillary information system with an emphasis on Pharmacy and/or Laboratory and/or HIMS (Medical Records). Cardiology or Radiology or Quality initiatives (Meaningful Use, HIE) would be beneficial as well. Experience with system/project implementation (including build) and system support. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Consistent delivery of quality solutions on time. Exceptional management of multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Preferred: Proven work history with demonstrated success in team work and collaboration resulting in a series of project or program successes with products such as Cerner. Required: Build, Implement, configure, debug and training experience with packaged systems. Advanced level of business and analytical skills. Project Management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. EDUCATION: Preferred: Masters degree preferred in Business Admin, Health Admin, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field. Required: Bachelors Degree (BA, BS, IS or IT or related field). EXPERIENCE: Preferred: At least one year of information management experience, or 2 years experience with an application vendor, or consulting group. Prior experience with system analysis, system admininstration and project implementation preferred. Minimum of recent 5 years related business experience. Knowledge of healthcare operations, billing regulations and reveune cycle preferred. Required: Minimum of recent 3 years related business experience. Prior experience with systems analysis, troubleshooting and working in team environmment to implement new processes and systems required. Must have education program development and presentation experience with strong public communications skills. Experience with word-processing, project management, and Business applications required. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/ OTHER: Preferred: Project Management Certification by Project Management Institute, AHIMA certification by HIMMS, Certified Patient Accounting Technician, Required: None
