Job Description: Our client in Montgomery County, PA is seeking to hire a full time Project Leader with Cerner Scheduling experience. Up to $10K relocation package is being offered. What client needs is an analyst who understands workflow, experience with change enhancement and making changes within the scheduling system itself...not just a scheduler. Siemens Invision experience is helpful. Cerner experience would be ideal however someone with another application experience will be considered. Must have Scheduling experience, Cerner is ideal but someone with another application will be considered. Must have supervisor experience to lead/mentor a team. Full management experience is not required, however oversight of a team is ideal. Travel Requirements: 35 – 50% domestic US travel (depending on projects). The Project Leader is responsible for coordinating and leading provider scheduling projects, including system selection, requirements analysis, implementation, and post live support. These projects include the ongoing design, build, testing, and implementation of the Cerner Scheduling solution throughout all client acute care facilities. Leads a team of analysts and coordinates work assignments given in order to meet deadlines and ensure continuous progress toward assignments completion. Shares experience and expertise by mentoring other members of team. Essential Job Duties System Implementation Regularly meets with users, vendors, and IS staff to develop/modify system specifications. Designs solutions for applications and prepares the appropriate documentation. Supervises development of test data, system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle. Performs Q/A on application functionality. Researches and resolves implementation-related Customer Support Center Tickets. Adheres to appropriate client Project and Change Management standards. Ensures strict adherence to work plans, reporting all serious deviations to management. Oversees the training of users in operating procedures for application. System Maintenance/Support Researches and resolves Customer Support Center Tickets including major application upgrades. Oversees a team of support analysts Coordinates monthly software patch releases Adheres to client Service Level and Change Management Policies. Provides on-call support as scheduled. Establishes and maintains regular communications with user community. Administration and Oversight Effectively trains analysts in performance of their duties as required. Provides technical support and guidance to other team members as required. Maintains Service Excellence principles. Prepares and promptly submits all routine and special reports. Interviews applicants for vacant positions as needed using appropriate interview techniques. Completes annual performance evaluation of staff members. Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems. Performs other tasks as required by management. Performs other duties as assigned/required.

Job Requirements: Job Requirements: Knowledge: Five or more years of progressively responsible information systems experience. Strongly prefer Cerner Scheduling (ESM) experience and/or Cerner Radiology/Surgery. Other vendor background considered. Minimum education requirement may be substituted in lieu of significant experience. Skills: Working knowledge of clinical system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices. Comprehensive working knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques and procedures, including: consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, coding, debugging, or modification of computer systems or programs based on and related to user design specifications. Working knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics. Working knowledge of project management methodology. General familiarity of user health care and business practices, processes, concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applications. Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency. Ability to learn quickly, take constructive feedback on performance, stay focused on the job, and produce desired outcomes. Travel Requirements: 35 – 50% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
