Job Description: Job Responsibility: Provides analysis and systems support for managing all financial aspects of the Medicare Advantage payment stream. Under the direction of the Manager, this position will have responsibility for managing the data, workflows, and applications used in the CMS Encounter Data and RAPS submissions. Provide data, systems support and analysis related to maximizing plans five-star rating from CMS. Support analysis and reconciliation of all CMS Payment mechanisms and related reports including: MMR, PDE, RAPS, EDPS, Plan 2 Plan, Cumulative Beneficiary, MOR, DIR and others as directed. Provide financial consultation and actionable information to the Healthcare Finance Management Team, Client''s Executive Team, and other departments regarding the business units, process, products and/or service lines the analyst is assigned to. Responsibilities include: Leading the development of reports and analysis required to understand the key drivers of the relevant business unit or service line. Helping to develop the systems and processes that are the foundation for reporting and analysis. Participating as a content expert in key forums and meetings with managers, Medical Directors and other executives. The position will we be a key link between the HCF department and the business intelligence and system support teams. Relocation or bonus possible for the right candidate. This is a newly created position working with client''s Medicare Advantage plan.
Job Requirements: 3-5 years experience in a decision support, financial analyst, or business analyst role. College degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics,Computer Science required. Masters degree in applicable field is preferred. Required: Demonstrated analytical skills,demonstrate increasing responsibilities in developing, analyzing, interpreting data, and system development. Preferred: Demonstrated ability to analyze and report on business units, products or service lines with minimal supervision/direction. Experience with Medicare Part C and/or Part D highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of medical billing to include ICD-9, CPT and Revenue Codes. Demonstrated project management experience. Required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Minimum 1 year of programming experience in SQL, SAS or similar application language. Preferred: Expert in Excel including VB and Macros. Experience participating in/leading system design and implementation initiatives.
